Assassin's Creed Syndicate is Ubisoft's action-adventure game set in Victorian-era London during the Industrial Revolution. Players control twin siblings Jacob and Evie Frye, who build their own gang empire while trying to free the city from Templar control and strengthen their own Rooks gang against rivals. The game's biggest innovation is a rope launcher tool that lets players move quickly through the city — dramatically speeding up vertical traversal and making navigating London's rooftops much more fluid. Horse-carriage chases, factory/city management mechanics, and side quests featuring real historical figures like Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin enrich the period atmosphere.
