Assassin's Creed Mirage

Assassin's Creed Mirage represents Ubisoft's return to the classic, more compact Assassin's Creed formula following the series' last five RPG-style entries (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla). Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Abbasid Caliphate, it tells the story of Basim, whom players met in Valhalla in his youth, joining the Hidden Ones brotherhood. Rather than a massive open world, it offers a smaller, denser city map, a skill tree instead of leveling, and a design emphasizing stealth over chaotic combat — classic parkour, stealth assassinations, and detective mechanics (an Eagle Vision-like 'Focus' mode) have been brought back. It was directly designed as an answer to the long-standing fan demand for a 'return to roots.'
