Far Cry 5 Open World

Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 is Ubisoft's open-world first-person shooter set in the fictional Hope County, Montana. Players build a resistance movement against Joseph Seed, leader of a fanatical religious cult called Eden's Gate, and his charismatic lieutenants known as the Heralds. True to series tradition, it offers a wildlife-filled, huntable open world, vehicle variety (planes, boats, ATVs), and the 'Guns for Hire' AI companion system (including animal companions like a bear and a cougar). As the first Far Cry game set in rural America rather than the series' typical tropical or remote settings (Himalayas, Africa), it offers a familiar yet tension-filled environment distinct from its predecessors.

The FPS values on this page are an approximate estimation model based on relative benchmark data across hardware — not an actual measurement. Driver version, in-game optimization, background applications, and upscaling technologies like DLSS/FSR can change real FPS significantly.
