About God of War Ragnarök

God of War Ragnarök is Santa Monica Studio's sequel to 2018's God of War, carrying Kratos and his son Atreus's story through the Norse mythology universe toward the prophesied arrival of Ragnarök, the end of the world. The game lets players explore all nine Norse realms (including Midgard, Alfheim, Vanaheim, and previously inaccessible regions); Kratos's hook-heavy combat with the Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos is expanded with new weapon combos and skill trees. The emotional depth of the father-son relationship forms the game's narrative core, with Atreus now getting playable sections as a more independent warrior.
