About Control

Control is Remedy Entertainment's supernatural action-adventure game set within the headquarters of a secretive government agency, the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). As the newly appointed Director, Jesse Faden fights an interdimensional invasion called the Hiss inside the ever-shifting 'Oldest House,' a building where the rules of reality break down. The game's most defining feature is its dynamic combat within destructible environments, supported by telekinetic abilities like throwing objects, levitating, and generating shields — nearly any surface can be broken apart and hurled as a weapon. Remedy's signature live-action cutscenes and an SCP Foundation-style concept of 'objects of power' give the game a distinctive atmosphere. The AWE expansion directly connects to the Alan Wake universe, reinforcing Remedy's 'Remedy Connected Universe' concept.
