Sid Meier's Civilization VI is Firaxis Games' latest main entry in the turn-based 4X (explore, expand, exploit, exterminate) strategy series. Players lead a civilization from the Stone Age to the dawn of the Space Age, balancing diplomacy, war, culture, science, and religion to achieve victory. The series' biggest innovation is that cities are no longer confined to a single tile but spread across surrounding districts — turning city planning into a strategic puzzle. Continuously expanded through dozens of expansions and DLC (Gathering Storm, Rise and Fall), it's one of the deepest and longest-running titles in the strategy genre.
