Alan Wake 2

About Alan Wake 2

Alan Wake 2 is Remedy Entertainment's sequel arriving 13 years later, shifting the series into psychological horror. The story alternates between two parallel characters: Alan Wake, the writer trapped inside an alternate dark reality called 'the Dark Place' where he's been writing a novel that traps him there, and Saga Anderson, an FBI agent investigating mysterious, cult-themed murders in the small town of Bright Falls, New York. The two characters' stories converge through cinematic live-action footage, the reality-altering 'Writer's Room' mechanic, and a supernatural threat called 'the Dark.' The game deepens Remedy's signature cinematic storytelling (live-action sequences, internal narration) and the fictional universe connections first seen in Control (the Remedy Connected Universe). Widely praised by critics for its visual quality and atmospheric horror elements, it earned several Game of the Year nominations.
