Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected through fpsdriver.com ('the Site', 'we'), how it is used, and what rights visitors have. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

The Site does not currently require you to create an account and does not collect identifying information (name, email, etc.). Only a technical, non-identifying cookie is used for the Site to function: the 'lang' cookie, which remembers your language preference. Standard server logs (IP address, browser info, visit time) may also be temporarily retained for security and debugging purposes.

2. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. The cookies we use: (a) a language preference cookie (necessary for the Site to work in the correct language), (b) a cookie-consent cookie (so we don't show this notice again). Once the Site starts serving ads, third-party ad networks like Google AdSense may also use their own cookies to show personalized ads — this policy will be updated and you will be notified again at that point. You can delete or block cookies at any time from your browser settings.

3. Google AdSense and Advertising

The Site may use (or plans to use) the Google AdSense advertising network to generate revenue. Google may use cookies and advertising identifiers to show personalized ads. You can learn more about how Google uses data in advertising at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. To opt out of personalized advertising from Google, visit https://adssettings.google.com.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics to anonymously analyze site traffic (IP addresses are truncated/anonymized). This tool only activates once you click 'Accept' on the cookie banner; if you click 'Reject' or make no choice, Google Analytics collects no data. For information on how Google processes data, visit https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Children's Privacy

The Site does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The Site is intended for a general audience interested in PC hardware and gaming.

6. Your Rights

You can always delete or block cookies from your browser settings. This may prevent some features of the Site (such as remembering your language preference) from working correctly. If you are an EU/EEA resident, you can contact us regarding your rights under the GDPR (access, correction, deletion).

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page will be updated for significant changes.

8. Desktop Application

If you use the FPS Driver desktop app, it may send version info, OS info, and a random, anonymous per-installation ID (not linked to your actual hardware, e.g. not a MAC address) on launch. You can disable this in the app's Settings tab. As with any internet request, your IP address is recorded server-side by default with this ping and with downloads from our download page.

9. Contact

If you have questions about privacy, you can contact us at: iletisim@fpsdriver.com
