Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is Rocksteady Studios' (creators of the Batman: Arkham series) third-person cooperative looter-shooter set in the DC universe. Players control the Suicide Squad, made up of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, fighting against brainwashed, hostile members of the Justice League (Superman, Batman, The Flash, and more). Set in an open-world Metropolis, the game offers weapon variety, an upgradeable equipment (loot) loop, and character-specific traversal systems (Harley's grapnel gun, King Shark's jumping power). Its departure from the Arkham series' serious, single-player tone toward a darker, more comedic and live-service-focused approach drew mixed reactions from fans at launch.
