Elden Ring

Elden Ring is an open-world action RPG developed by FromSoftware under director Hidetaka Miyazaki, with world-building contributions from fantasy author George R. R. Martin. It carries the demanding, rewarding combat of the Dark Souls series into a vast, explorable open world, and has been regarded as a genre-defining release since launching in 2022. Players roam the Lands Between on horseback (Torrent), uncovering hidden dungeons, colossal bosses, and a rich, cryptic lore at their own pace. The 2024 "Shadow of the Erdtree" expansion added even more content. In its punishing boss fights, high and consistent FPS matters a great deal since it directly affects reaction timing.
