Valheim is Iron Gate Studio's survival and building game set in a procedurally generated world inspired by Norse mythology. Players take on the role of a Viking warrior spirit unable to enter paradise, sent by Odin to a purgatory realm called Valheim, where they must defeat five massive bosses to earn entry into Valhalla. Combining resource gathering, crafting, home and fortress building (with a realistic structural integrity system based on physics), and boat-building for sea exploration, the game also stands out for its simple yet striking low-poly visual style. Its 2021 Early Access launch achieved record sales figures on Steam, making it one of the most talked-about titles in the survival-crafting genre.
