DayZ

DayZ is Bohemia Interactive's brutal post-apocalyptic zombie survival game, built on the Arma series engine. Set in the fictional region of Chernarus, the game leaves players with no equipment, forcing them into resource gathering, managing hunger/thirst, disease management, and surviving against both zombies and other players (where it's unclear who's friend or foe). The game's true roots began as a free mod for Arma 2, later becoming a standalone title — making it one of the most influential pioneers of the modern survival genre.
