Remnant II is Gunfire Games' cooperative action-RPG combining Souls-like challenging combat with third-person shooter gameplay. Players (solo or in co-op with up to 3 people) use an interdimensional gateway network called 'the Root' to explore completely different, procedurally rearranged worlds, each with its own biome, enemy types, and bosses. This provides high replayability, offering a different experience with each playthrough. Weapon crafting, a class (Archetype) system, and challenging, precision-demanding boss fights form the core of the game. Arriving with far more content and improved graphics compared to the first game, Remnant II achieved surprising success in the cooperative action-RPG genre.
