Assassin's Creed Origins

Assassin's Creed Origins is Ubisoft's pivotal entry that transformed the series into an RPG, set in ancient Egypt during the late Ptolemaic period. Players control Bayek, a Medjay (a kind of guardian/investigator), and his wife Aya, seeking revenge against a secret organization responsible for their son's death, while witnessing what becomes the true origin story of the Assassin brotherhood. The game offers a far larger open world than previous AC titles, a level-based enemy/weapon system, and a real-time, tactical combat system with attack speed and power varying by weapon type (swords, spears, and more). The meticulous historical recreation of pyramids, temples, and ancient Egyptian cities gives the game value even in its 'Discovery Tour' mode, which strips out combat for pure exploration.
