Dragon's Dogma 2 is Capcom's long-awaited sequel to the 2012 cult classic Dragon's Dogma. Players take on the role of the Arisen, a chosen hero whose heart has been torn out by a great dragon, offering a unique climbing and grappling-based combat system for physically interacting with massive monsters like griffins, chimeras, and cyclopes, alongside Pawn companion NPCs they create themselves. The game's most recognizable feature is its Pawn system — players create their own Pawns and can 'rent' others created by different players, with these Pawns gathering and sharing knowledge about the world. A demanding, immersive life-simulation feel (traveling at night is dangerous, weight-carrying limits) adds depth to the game.
